Why it's worth checking out
Camelot Lounge sits on Marrickville Road in Marrickville, in Sydney's culturally rich inner west. A beloved live-music venue, it's become a genuine fixture of the city's music scene — known for its intimate, atmospheric setting and a brilliant, eclectic program spanning jazz, world music, folk, cabaret and more.
The appeal is that combination of a wonderfully diverse live-music line-up and a cosy, characterful venue where the focus is squarely on the performers and the experience. For music lovers after something a little different from the mainstream, it's a treasured spot, drawing a loyal crowd to its many shows.
With a 4.6 rating from more than 1,000 reviews, it's clearly a firm favourite. The performance line-up, show times, ticketing and any food-and-drink arrangements vary entirely with what's on, so it's essential to check the current program and book directly before you go — and to arrive in time to settle in, as part of the magic is the intimate, close-up atmosphere of the room.
Spot Score
The Spot Score is our composite of five signals — two about the venue's standing with visitors and three about how complete and current this listing is. It is not a visitor rating and not a verdict on the food or the experience. The 4.6 from 1,016 reviews is Google's visitor rating, shown separately and never altered by us.
