The Vanguard

The Vanguard is a Newtown bar and live entertainment venue on the city end of King Street, presenting a varied programme that spans burlesque, jazz, rock and DJ sets. Getting there is straightforward: Newtown station is about a 10-minute walk along King Street, buses stop nearby and Central Station is a short drive away. The venue has an accessible rear entrance and an accessible bathroom on the main floor.
