Why it's worth checking out

Stan Windon Memorial Playground sits on Beach Street in Coogee, one of Sydney's most popular eastern beaches. A 4.4 rating from 59 reviews reflects its standing as a much-loved family spot.

The appeal is fun for the kids in a lovely beachside setting — a playground right by the famous Coogee beach, a brilliant free outing that keeps little ones happy, with the sand and the foreshore close by. It's a lovely, family-friendly spot.

Playgrounds and parks have changing facilities and seasonal conditions, so check current details if you're planning around something specific. Otherwise it's a free, family-friendly spot to enjoy whenever the weather's good — bring sun protection, water and hats for the kids.

Spot Score

The Spot Score is our composite of five signals — two about the venue's standing with visitors and three about how complete and current this listing is. It is not a visitor rating and not a verdict on the food or the experience. The 4.4 from 59 reviews is Google's visitor rating, shown separately and never altered by us.
