Why it's worth checking out

She Loves You sits on King Street in Newtown, one of Sydney's most vibrant and eclectic inner-west strips. A characterful bar, it's earned a strong reputation — the kind of stylish, in-the-know spot that captures the creative, easygoing spirit of Newtown and has become a genuine favourite for a quality drink in a great atmosphere.

The appeal is that combination of quality drinks, a relaxed yet characterful setting and a prime King Street location, ideal for a catch-up, a special drink or settling in for the evening. In a suburb full of bars, a quality venue with genuine character really stands out, and She Loves You has clearly carved out a loyal following.

With a 4.8 rating from more than 270 reviews, it's clearly a firm favourite. Drinks lists, any food, opening hours and any events vary, and a popular Newtown bar fills up on weekends, so it's worth checking current details before you go — though for a relaxed, quality drink in a characterful setting, it's often just a matter of dropping in and seeing why it's so well rated on King Street.

Spot Score

The Spot Score is our composite of five signals — two about the venue's standing with visitors and three about how complete and current this listing is. It is not a visitor rating and not a verdict on the food or the experience. The 4.8 from 275 reviews is Google's visitor rating, shown separately and never altered by us.
