Why it's worth checking out

Ollie Webb Reserve sits on Glebe Street in Parramatta, in the heart of Greater Western Sydney. A pleasant local park, it's a much-loved green space for the surrounding community — combining open lawns, shaded areas, a playground and walking paths in a relaxed, family-friendly setting close to the centre of Parramatta.

The appeal is that combination of accessible parkland and easy amenity: room to walk, picnic and relax, a playground for the kids and a peaceful green escape within easy reach of the city. It's a popular spot for families and locals after some time outdoors close to home.

With a 4.5 rating from more than 1,600 reviews, it's a well-used and appreciated spot. The park is free and open year-round, but facilities and any events vary, so it's worth checking the surrounds before a special trip — though for a casual picnic, a play or some time outdoors, you can generally just turn up and enjoy the park.

Spot Score

The Spot Score is our composite of five signals — two about the venue's standing with visitors and three about how complete and current this listing is. It is not a visitor rating and not a verdict on the food or the experience. The 4.5 from 1,601 reviews is Google's visitor rating, shown separately and never altered by us.
