Why it's worth checking out
The Lake Parramatta Swimming Area sits at Lake Parramatta in North Parramatta, in Sydney's greater west. With 66 reviews behind its 4.4 rating, it's a much-loved spot.
The appeal is a lovely natural swim close to the city — a designated swimming area at the beautiful Lake Parramatta reserve, with bushland, walking tracks and lovely surrounds, a genuine local favourite for a swim, a paddle, a picnic or a walk. It's a lovely escape into nature.
Swimming areas and reserves have changing conditions and seasonal considerations, so check current details and any advisories before you swim. Otherwise it's a lovely, mostly free spot to enjoy whenever the weather's good — bring sun protection, water and your swimmers.
Spot Score
The Spot Score is our composite of five signals — two about the venue's standing with visitors and three about how complete and current this listing is. It is not a visitor rating and not a verdict on the food or the experience. The 4.4 from 66 reviews is Google's visitor rating, shown separately and never altered by us.
