Why it's worth checking out
Hunter Park is a quiet grassed space in Bondi, tucked behind Bondi Icebergs and sloping towards the start of the coastal walk to Bronte or Coogee. Its sculpture park and ocean views give it a distinct setting for a pause before or after a walk, or a relaxed moment looking out over the coast.
The park suits solo visitors, couples and small groups wanting open space and a calmer alternative to the busier parts of Bondi Beach. Dogs are not allowed in the park, although they can join the coastal walk on-leash. Toilets are available at South Bondi Beach, while parking is limited to on-street spaces; a mobility parking bay is located on Notts Avenue. Formal gatherings, larger events, corporate activations and filming require approval through Waverley Council’s public-space process.
Spot Score
The Spot Score is our composite of five signals — two about the venue's standing with visitors and three about how complete and current this listing is. It is not a visitor rating and not a verdict on the food or the experience. The 4.4 from 145 reviews is Google's visitor rating, shown separately and never altered by us.
