The broader drinks selection includes classic cocktails, wine by the glass or bottle, spirits, beer and non-alcoholic options. For something more relaxed, Happy Hour Aperitivo runs from 5 to 6pm daily, framing beverage specials around the Italian ritual of taking a break after work.
The aperitivo menu includes options such as Tramonto, a sparkling-wine cocktail with rhubi mistelle, raspberry and grapefruit; a 50/50 Martini with a choice of Haku Vodka or Hickson House Gin; Noto Notte; and the non-alcoholic No-Groni. These named serves sit alongside wine and Peroni Nastro Azzurro Lager. Food is presented as simple, bold fare designed for sharing, with share plates available for the table. Breakfast is also served above the city, from Monday to Friday and on weekends at the times listed by the venue.
Dean & Nancy on 22 was created with the team from Maybe Sammy, and the venue describes itself as a homage to the classic hotel bars of earlier eras.
