The Nuns' Pool

Two of the venue’s more distinctive experiences are its High Tea and Bottomless Long Lunch. High Tea is positioned for birthdays, bridal and baby showers, Mother’s Day or an elegant afternoon by the ocean. The Bottomless Long Lunch brings a shared seasonal feast with three hours of selected beverages, making it particularly suited to groups marking a birthday, hens party or other celebration.

The venue’s name connects to Cronulla history. In 1924, the Sisters of Mercy from Parramatta established their residence and convent, Stella Maris, near the coast. A naturally formed rock pool beyond the property became their private bathing and renewal spot, giving The Nuns’ Pool its seaside story. Today, the restaurant also caters for private dinners, intimate gatherings and weddings, with its South Cronulla setting providing a calm backdrop for occasions that call for a little more than a standard restaurant booking.
