The Goods Line is a public walkway linking Central Station in Sydney’s CBD with Darling Harbour. Built along a disused rail corridor, it has been reworked into a partly elevated green space that brings a different perspective to the city and connects several inner-city destinations.
Along the shared pedestrian and cycle path, visitors will find leafy areas, seating, workout spaces and public ping pong tables. It is a practical route as well as a place to pause, exercise or spend time outdoors, with enough variety to suit a casual walk, a cycle through the city or an informal outing with friends and family.
The route passes Sydney TAFE, the University of Technology Sydney, the ABC and the Powerhouse Museum, making it useful for exploring this part of Sydney on foot.
