Sonder Cafe

Sonder Cafe brings an all-day café menu and a serious focus on coffee to Glenmore Road in Paddington. The café opened in 2018 and describes its cooking as Australian urban fusion, combining familiar breakfast dishes with Italian and Thai influences, plus house-made burgers. Breakfast is served throughout the day, with options including Free Range Egg on Toast, Smashed Avo with a Kick, French Toast, Shakshuka and the more substantial Sonder Brekkie. Standouts include the Konbini Fried Chicken Sando, King Prawn Linguini, Steak Bun and Mushroom Mafaldine, while the Soba Noodle Salad and Orange Salad provide lighter choices. There is also a children's spaghetti bolognese serving, making the café a practical option for families as well as solo breakfasts and casual catch-ups.

Coffee sits at the centre of the Sonder offering. The drinks menu covers espresso-based favourites, iced coffee, cold brew, chai, matcha and taro lattes, alongside juices, smoothies and a selection of teas. The café also serves signature drinks such as the Iced Coconut Cloud Latte, Montblanc and Strawberry Matcha Dream. For a longer visit, the drinks list extends to cocktails, beer and wine, giving groups the option to settle in beyond the morning coffee run.
