Scram Escape Rooms

Scram Escape Rooms brings interactive, real-life puzzle games to Church Street in Parramatta, giving groups a shared challenge rather than a passive activity. Players work through tasks, missions and puzzles to make progress and escape, with themes designed for both first-timers and experienced escape-room fans.

There is a broad mix of moods across the games. Family-friendly themes are intended for all ages, while other experiences lean into scares or adult humour. Parramatta games named on the site include The Pharaoh’s Tomb and Toy Rescue: Dream or Nightmare, each offering a different setting to explore. The venue’s game gallery also gives visitors a look at the style of the rooms before booking.

The business was started by Daniel, Jessica and Walid after they discovered escape rooms while working shifts at McDonald’s. Their first game, The Wizard Chambers, was developed with a cork board, twine, pins, paper and pens before Scram opened in 2017. The business now has 13 games across four locations, including Parramatta, Penrith and Macquarie Park. Penrith also has Prison Island, a prison-themed space with 30 cells, each containing a different game.
