Why it's worth checking out

Massage By The Beach is a Coogee massage practice located within The Living Room Coogee on Carr Street. It is run by Cilla, a fully qualified remedial massage therapist with a Diploma of Remedial Massage, who describes her approach as caring, nurturing and focused on helping clients feel welcome and comfortable.

The practice centres on communication and tailored care. Before treatment, Cilla asks clients to share what they are feeling, experiencing and hoping to gain, then explains the treatment and what they may expect from it. Her philosophy is that massage can support people managing stress, illness or physical and mental tension, as well as those simply looking to pamper themselves.

The setting is intended to accommodate different ways of relaxing: clients can chat during their massage or choose quiet time, and are welcome to bring their own music and headphones. Cilla also encourages regular massage as part of longer-term health care. Gift vouchers are available by contacting the practice directly. With a five-star Google rating from 41 reviews, it may suit solo visitors seeking remedial or relaxation-focused massage in Coogee, including locals and people visiting the beach area.

Spot Score

The Spot Score is our composite of five signals — two about the venue's standing with visitors and three about how complete and current this listing is. It is not a visitor rating and not a verdict on the food or the experience. The 5.0 from 41 reviews is Google's visitor rating, shown separately and never altered by us.
