Le Foote

Le Foote brings a French bistro and wine bar to 101 George Street in The Rocks, Sydney, in a heritage-listed setting shaped around long lunches, unhurried dinners and drinks at the bar. The venue describes its cooking as rooted in the French bistro canon, while the wider Swillhouse story also refers to Le Foote’s Mediterranean menu. For a shorter visit, the front bar and alfresco courtyard are set up for drinks and bar snacks, including the venue’s daily happy hour from 4pm to 6pm. The current offer includes $12 cocktails, $6 lager and $7 wine during that window, with walk-ins welcome at the front bar or courtyard.

Le Foote opened in The Rocks in 2023 as part of Swillhouse, the Sydney hospitality group founded by bartender Anton Forte and waiter Jason Scott. The group’s earlier venues include Shady Pines, The Baxter Inn, Restaurant Hubert and Alberto’s Lounge, and Le Foote extends its food-led side into one of Sydney’s most historic precincts.
