Why it's worth checking out
Kazzi Beach Greek Manly brings a Greek island-inspired menu to Shop 4, 93–95 North Steyne, with a focus on relaxed, social eating by the beach or takeaway to share. The Manly restaurant is one of three Kazzi locations in Sydney, alongside Bondi Beach and Balmoral Beach, and offers dine-in bookings, larger-group arrangements and pick-up or delivery options.
The food is shaped by the flavours and traditions of Kastellorizo, a Greek island in the Dodecanese that the venue refers to as “Kazzi”. Its approach centres on fresh produce, in-house preparation, seasonal salads, seafood, lean meats and house marinades, herbs and spices. The menu covers mezze, wraps, pastries, platters, hot and cold drinks, and Greek sweets, making it easy to build a light meal, a shared spread or something more substantial.
For a classic introduction, the Kazzi Mezze Plate combines olives, two homemade dips and pitta bread, while the dips include tzatziki, taramosalata, smoky eggplant and spicy feta. Seafood options include chargrilled octopus, calamari, Australian king prawns, barramundi and a market fish fillet. From the spit, diners can choose chicken, pork or lamb with Greek salad, pitta, chips or tzatziki, and the meat and seafood platters are designed for groups. The takeaway souvlaki wraps come with options including chicken, pork, lamb, halloumi, chickpea fritter, fish or mixed meat.
There is plenty here for different kinds of visits. Couples can share mezze or a platter, while larger groups can enquire about the banquet menus, which have a four-person minimum. Families are catered for with a dedicated Little Kazzies section featuring child-sized chicken, calamari and fish options. Vegetarian and gluten-free choices are identified on the menu, with gluten-free pitta, bread and wraps available for an additional charge. Finish with a Greek pastry such as baklava, galaktopoureko or kataifi, or choose the Kazzigato from the dessert list. The overall offering is casual, generous and suited to a beachside meal that can be enjoyed at the table or taken away.
