Why it's worth checking out
The City Lookout from Milsons Point sits on Kirribilli Avenue at Milsons Point, on Sydney's Lower North Shore. A near-perfect 4.9 rating from 136 reviews reflects its standing as a much-loved viewpoint.
The appeal is one of Sydney's most spectacular outlooks — a lookout with breathtaking views across Sydney Harbour, the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge, right by the water at Milsons Point and Kirribilli. It's a genuine highlight for a photo, a sunset or simply soaking up one of the world's great harbour scenes.
The lookout and its surrounds change over time, and it gets busy at sunset and during events. It's a free, easygoing spot to enjoy whenever the weather's good — bring your camera, sun protection and take your time soaking up the views.
Spot Score
The Spot Score is our composite of five signals — two about the venue's standing with visitors and three about how complete and current this listing is. It is not a visitor rating and not a verdict on the food or the experience. The 4.9 from 136 reviews is Google's visitor rating, shown separately and never altered by us.
