Why it's worth checking out
City Cave in North Strathfield pulls three of the most popular recovery treatments together in one place: infrared sauna, float therapy and massage. For anyone in Sydney's inner west chasing a reset after training, a long week or just too much screen time, it's a convenient one-stop option on George Street.
The float tanks are the signature draw — weightless, quiet and dark, the kind of deep switch-off that's hard to find elsewhere — while the infrared sauna and massage round out a proper wellness session. It's a calm, considered space designed around recovery rather than rush.
A perfect 5.0 rating across more than 750 reviews is genuinely uncommon and a strong signal of consistently good service and a well-run studio. Treatment options, memberships and pricing vary and the best times book out, so it's worth checking current details and reserving your session directly before you visit, particularly if you want to combine a float with a sauna or massage in the one trip.
