Chi, The Spa is the wellness offering at Shangri-La in Sydney CBD, drawing on the idea of Shangri-La as a place for calm, balance and wellbeing. Its treatments are influenced by traditional wellness practices from across Asia, with additional therapies that use Australian healing approaches and botanicals native to the region.

The menu covers massages, facials, body treatments, treatment enhancements and wellness retreats. Named body treatments include an Organic Shea Butter and Sugar Body Scrub, Australian Wattleseed Scrub, Organic Age-Defying Firming Wrap, Hydrating Natural Pink Clay Wrap and Detoxifying Marine Mineral Body Mask. The experience is designed around individual care. A consultant speaks with each guest on arrival to help identify suitable treatments, while therapists can adjust details such as massage pressure, lighting and sound. Treatment suites provide spa wear, and guests are given private time to change before being covered with towels during the treatment. Chi, The Spa suits solo visits and planned self-care appointments, particularly for guests who value a consultation-led experience. Advance reservations are recommended, and visitors are asked to arrive 15 minutes early. Children under 16 are not permitted, and cancellations or no-shows within 24 hours attract a full cancellation fee.
