Why it's worth checking out
Amigos Restaurant sits on Enmore Road in Newtown, one of Sydney's most vibrant and eclectic inner-west dining strips. A much-loved restaurant, it's earned a near-flawless reputation for its flavour-packed cooking and warm, welcoming atmosphere — the kind of lively, genuine spot that's become a firm favourite in a famously food-loving area.
The appeal is that combination of quality, satisfying food, a sociable atmosphere and a great Enmore Road location, ideal for a relaxed dinner, a group meal or a fun night out. Earning a near-perfect rating on a strip with so much choice speaks to a place getting both the food and the welcome genuinely right, drawing a devoted following.
A 4.9 rating from more than 280 reviews is an excellent result and a strong endorsement. Menus, opening hours and pricing change with the seasons, and a highly rated restaurant fills up on weekends, so it's well worth checking current details and booking directly before you go — particularly if you're dining with a group, after a table at a peak time, or planning a night out in Newtown.
Spot Score
The Spot Score is our composite of five signals — two about the venue's standing with visitors and three about how complete and current this listing is. It is not a visitor rating and not a verdict on the food or the experience. The 4.9 from 285 reviews is Google's visitor rating, shown separately and never altered by us.
