The 17th Rex Cramphorn Memorial Lecture, ‘Evoking Country: towards a land-based performing arts praxis’, features Murrawarri/Ngemba theatre maker Lily Shearer in dialogue with Professor Daniel Browning. Shearer will discuss Moogahlin Performing Arts’ First Peoples-led productions, the role of Country in commissioning, writing and staging performance, and the legacy of the Murrawarri Rainmakers. The lecture will interest people engaged with theatre, performance and First Peoples’ arts practices.
